Looked like a rough neighborhood, right? Hard to say when most of the interviewed residences look of a… mature age. When you decide to take a gun out of the safety of its holding place, you put yourself in a position of great power. With great power comes great responsibility. “Dan” you make a valid point and it should be said as a Florida native I have witnessed such actions by these “Southern Gentleman”. “Stephen” I think that it is ignorant to discount his point. Racism is alive and thriving in the south, “James”, weather you have seen it first hand or not in New Jersey, I can’t say. Consequently, It was this reverse racism that lead to the “thug” profiling of Treyvon. Weather Zimmerman was a rogue neighborhood watchman with a gun or a victim, I cannot say. But, don’t count “holding present generations accountable for the perceived and assumed actions of their ancestors.” as a valid argument. There are too many blurred lines to speculate anything.

Am feminist – mostly liberal- but grew up in rough former military housing…
subsequently know the value of SIZE in an altercation- which has routinely been left out -also the value of PHYSICAL FITNESS and MENTALITY – All of which would favor Trayvon Martin in any encounter over George Zimmerman. Had to search for this information – thank you for having it available..It should be out there for all to see…without having to search for the TRUTH.

Dear Colonel McGehee,

Thank you for the non-mainstream, non-politically correct, article and comments. They are quite refreshing. Yours truly, had assumed otherwise,
due to mental tendencies ingrained by the egalitarian-dominated educational system and media. As for Dan, let yours truly, state, that his comment is a prime example of the falsehood of holding present generations accountable for the perceived and assumed actions of their ancestors.

The comment is a selective and gross misuse of history. Furthermore, as a man striving to be a quasi-Southern gentleman, the suggestions and links off, the Confederate Colonel website, have been, and are invaluable, for self-improvement and more. Yours Truly, used to be somewhat like Trayvon Martin.

And, by the way, yours truly, is of mixed ancestry.
