I most heartily disagree with almost everything you wrote. The most successful cultures were egalitarian. The Mercantilist cultures destroyed them. There has been misery ever since. It is unfair to conclude that equality is bad when you only take the worst segment of humans who have been living under the tyranny of the rich and powerful.

Economic inequality has to come to an end if humanity is to survive. The lust for money has turned us into sociopaths.
