Pull up a chair or sit on the porch swing while we have a glass of tea or lemonade and talk about the good life and whatever else comes to mind. This is the place to introduce yourself to the forum.

Living the life of the Southern Gentleman. The meaning of loyalty, duty, honor, and the quiet dignity that made Robert E. Lee a legend - and how to apply it to our lives today. Discuss what it means to be a Southern Gentleman in today's world - it affects everything we do, from manners and how we treat others, to our every-day outward appearance.

The Southern Lady is about gracious living. The men who shaped The Old South depended on the women in their lives - women who love God, their husbands, and their children. Discuss home and family issues: home schooling with a Southern slant, decorating in an Old South look, celebrating Southern holidays, entertaining friends and family, and favorite Southern recipes. Here is where you will find ideas for planning your Lee-Jackson Dinner.

Southern hospitality is legendary, but the manners, etiquette, customs, and dress codes that were once common knowledge, are no longer being taught and observed on a routine basis. This is where we discuss the standards by which a Lady or Gentleman is measured by others in terms of what they wear and how they act.

The kitchen garden and the backyard chicken flock were an important part of the Old South landscape. Robert E. Lee said, "All I ever wanted was a Virginia farm, no end of cream and fresh butter and fried chicken - not one fried chicken, or two, but unlimited fried chicken." Discuss your Southern homestead (whether real, planned, or dreamed of), self-reliance, and preparedness.
• This is also where we discuss the Southern Agrarian movement of the 1930's from the book, "I'll Take My Stand" and how it relates to today.

Discuss the history, display, and use of Southern symbols.
The Code of Confederate Flag Etiquette is the Confederate Colonel project to formulate a set of principles and guidelines for the proper and respectful use and display of the symbols of The South. The end result of this project is a document titled The Code of Confederate Flag Etiquette. Our hope is that this document will be widely accepted as the authoritative guide to the proper and respectful use and display of Southern symbols.

Setting the record straight on a topic that The South has been unfairly saddled with. Left to ourselves, this would not even be a topic of discussion; however, like a Southern Gentleman hearing of his family being slandered, it is a topic we are forced to address. This is where we discuss the broad spectrum of race and slavery - from what The Holy Bible says about it, to how it affects modern day politics, race relations, demographics, and society.
