Southern Heritage Archive Collection

The Southern Heritage Archive is a project of the Confederate Colonel forum. Our objective is to serve as a permanent archive of the best writings of "non-published" writers on the Internet. Some of the best analysis of Southern issues is never formally published, but is found on web forums, email exchanges, and other virtual forums. These writings can easily be lost in a sea of other posts or as sites disappear for various reasons. Our objective is to save and catalog this material and make it available to those studying Southern issues and the War for Southern Independence. We encourage others to copy these articles to provide multiple backups throughout the web.

Articles appearing here originate from various sources, including the Southern Heritage Archive Discussion section of the Confederate Colonel forum. To the best of our knowledge, all material here has been approved for use here by the authors. If you are the author of any material on this site and you have not given your permission for its inclusion here, please contact us immediately so we can correct the situation. We will not knowingly reproduce any information without the author's or copyright-holder's permission.
