First of all, let me wish you all the best as you enjoy this holiday season. No, I am not trying to be “politically correct” here. I want to make sure that all the tinsel and the lights and the gifts and the music are viewed as background noise rather than distractions from He whose birth we claim to celebrate. If we allow ourselves to put anything ahead of Jesus Christ, then we are wrong.
Second, I want to let you know why I have not been posting much in the past few weeks. I have appointed to the position of Webmaster General in the Military Order of The Stars and Bars. We are just wrapping up the construction of a new web site, built from the ground up. There is a lot of information that needed to be transferred to the new site, and that involved many hours of work and emails and conference calls. The “go live” date is this Monday. I hope to return to a regular schedule of posting here around the beginning of the new year.
May you and your family have a blessed Christmas! I’m ooking forward to the launch of the new website…
Congrats Colonel, I will pray for a blessed new year for you and your family.
Thank you gentlemen very much. I hope you and your families have a safe, prosperous, and happy new year!
An update to the update:
The new web site is now up and running. Stop by for a visit at http://www.militaryorderofthestarsandbars.org . Right now, we’re working on building the MOS&B web store, and that should be ready to go in the next day or so.
